About G&R Heritage Logistics

Who we are

G&R Heritage Logistics LLC is a freight transportation company registered in the State of Illinois and operating under federal motor carrier authority. We haul dry van and general commodity freight for shippers and brokers, and we recruit and employ the CDL-A drivers who move it.

We are deliberately a small operation. That is not an apology — it is the product. Dispatch knows every driver by name, the person who quotes a load is the person who follows it to delivery, and problems get solved by someone with the authority to solve them instead of being escalated into a queue.

How we work

Three commitments shape how we run the business, and we would rather lose a load than break one of them:

• Say what the freight will actually do. If a delivery window is tight, we say so before we accept it, not after we miss it.
• Pay drivers what was quoted. Settlements match the offer. Deductions are disclosed up front and itemized every week.
• Keep compliance boring. Hours of service, inspections, drug and alcohol testing, and driver qualification files are handled correctly and on time.

Where we operate

Our terminal and office are in New Lenox, Illinois, inside the Chicago freight corridor. We run over-the-road lanes throughout the lower 48 states and regional lanes across the Midwest, with local work available out of the Chicago metropolitan area.

Growing carefully

We are adding trucks and drivers at a pace we can support with real dispatch coverage and real maintenance capacity. As the fleet grows, we also expect to expand into freight brokerage and dedicated driver-staffing services for other carriers. Growth that outruns service is not growth we are interested in.
